Surviving Media is Expanding
Surviving adds content, conversation and community
It’s a little over six months since we launched Surviving’s newsletter, so we would like to thank you for listening to us in 2020. It has certainly been an interesting time to start a conversation. As the year comes to a close we would like to share some of our plans for 2021.
Surviving’s newsletter offers a simple promise: to help business leaders, entrepreneurs and investors to look around corners. We do this by analysing the macro-environment, examining key trends and new directions while challenging the world we live in.
Our editorial style is personal, proactive and participatory. We’re not afraid to share opinions and we welcome debate. All our content is exclusive, independent and original.
We are supported by a wonderful group of experts at the Surviving Think Tank and we are in the early phase of a new media concept, called Media-as-a-Service (MaaS), which is being developed by the Letts Group. As you know, Surviving is edited by Philip Letts.
Recently we became a featured Letts Media property, so we will have access to more resources, a wider network and more of the Letts team. Which means that we, in turn, will be able to offer you more.
Our content will continue to be ad free, spam free and easy to access from any device. You can only comment or converse if you are a subscriber (free or paying). When new features are added they will be designed to enhance your experience, not to make it more complicated.
We continue to publish our main weekly insight article but occasionally we will add a tips or thought piece and the odd, almost monthly online conversation or debate. Our content will continue to be free - we just ask that you share your favourite articles and help spread the word.
You can either read Surviving online at the website or enter your email address to get updates to your inbox. Subscribers have access to content, comment features and conversations. We welcome your interaction. In fact we thrive off it!
The idea, over time, is to develop an international, interactive community of (business) leaders, entrepreneurs and investors who are interested in a high quality, international dialogue about change, about progress and about where the 21st century is going to take us. Themes include politics, economics, innovation, technology, environment, culture and healthier living. Surviving outlines trends and how we might benefit from them. Hopefully you will join in the conversation, add to the debate and get some important questions answered (assuming we can!).
We would like to thank you all for listening to us in 2020. We did not imagine there would be so many of you and that you would come from such interesting places - running well known businesses, public sector organisations, projects, startups, research groups and funds.
We hope you will make the journey with us over the years.
